Fence Armor’s previous store had grown messy as the catalog expanded. Poor structure, inconsistent design, and limited guidance for buyers made it difficult for customers to understand products and move confidently through checkout.

Key challenges included:

  • Structuring a complex catalog for DTC shoppers, not industry insiders

How We Approached the Build

The redesign focused on clarity first, performance second, and conversion throughout. Rather than adding more content or features, the store was restructured to guide customers through decision-making more naturally.

Our focus areas were:

  • Simplifying navigation and catalog structure using a custom mega menu
  • Improving product discovery with AI-assisted search and filtering
  • Introducing a custom stain amount calculator to reduce guesswork for buyers
  • Optimizing page speed and performance across the storefront
  • Using AI-supported CRO insights to identify friction and improve flow
